Cancellation Terms for the Annual Scientific Meeting (ASM)
Cancellations must be made in writing and sent to firstname.lastname@example.org. Verbal changes or cancellations cannot be accepted.
We understand the impact COVID-19 may have on travel and attendance; therefore, no administration fees will be charged for cancellations made prior to Friday, 4th March 2022.
Cancellation requests made between Saturday, 5th March 2022 and Friday, 8th April 2022 will receive a full refund minus an administration fee of $110 incl GST. Any cancellations made after this date will be considered on a case by case basis.
Changes to registrations, from in-person to virtual or virtual to in-person, will be permitted and will be processed on a case-by-case basis following application to the Meeting Organisers.
At any point prior to the ASM you are welcome to contact us in writing to nominate a substitute delegate at no extra charge.
If accommodation has been secured through the ASM website, please refer to the individual cancellation terms and conditions for each individual hotel.
Refunds will be returned via the same payment method as the original receipt of funds.
The health and safety of conference attendees is our highest priority. ANZAN is mindful of the health risks posed by COVID-19, and the importance of following official medical advice with respect to social distancing, practicing good hygiene and staying at home when unwell. ANZAN requests that any delegate who is feeling unwell or has cold or flu like symptoms, or who may have been in contact with someone with COVID-19, not attend the ASM.
In the event the ASM is not able to proceed as a hybrid meeting, and is moved to a virtual format only, your registration will be transferred to a virtual registration. If you choose not to attend the virtual ASM, ANZAN will not be required to refund any part of the registration fee.
If, on medical grounds, you are unable to attend the ASM, you must notify us in writing by email to email@example.com. Your registration will be changed to virtual attendance, and refund will be provided for the registration fee difference; however, you may be asked to provide additional details.
